3 Biotechnology Cooperation Programme between Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and RMES 3 years Annual funding upto US$ 120,000 from each side to their scientists towards exchange visits, consumables and other research expenses. Bio-energy,

Affordable Diagnostics for Human Health and Agriculture           

4 Medical Research Cooperation Programme between Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and RFBR 3 years Annual funding of upto US$ 100,000/ per project from each side towards exchange visits, consumables and other research expenses HIV / AIDS,

Neurosciences,

New Generation

Vaccine Research,

Oncology

Bioimaging & Bioinformatics.

To begin with projects in Bioimaging & Bioinformatics will be supported under subtopics (TBC):

a) Computer design of medicine compounds,

b) Biosensor analysis,

c) Mechanism of secondary impact caused by medical preparations,

d) Photodynamic therapy            

5 Basic and Exploratory Scientific Research Programme between DST and Russian Science Foundation (RSF) 3 years with possible extension for 2 years Annual RSF grant shall be from 4-6 million Russian Rubles per project and that of DST shall be upto 6 million Indian Rupees per project.
