6th Asian Forum of Chromosome and Chromatin Biology

In the year 2006, some scientists from India and Japan initiated the idea of having "The Asian Forum of Chromosome and Chromatin Biology" in order to develop active international collaborations for a multi-disciplinary, chromosome /chromatin biology research. Since then, The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, and the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, have been alternatively hosting the Asian Chromatin Meeting biennially. Efforts are made to invite several active Researchers in this area from India and the International arena to participate in the meetings, deliver talks onthe recent developments made in this field of research and enable exchange of new ideas among the participants.
